A Practical Google Play Store Launch Checklist (From Real App Launches at Sybrix)
Bashir Lucas Samson Lukman
Store listing week is where hidden work appears: privacy questionnaires, screenshots, signing keys, and policy text. This is the checklist we run at Sybrix before a Play Store submit.
Engineering gates
- Release signing configured and backed up
- Crash reporting enabled on release builds
- API production base URL verified
- Deep links / app links tested
- Push credentials for production

Policy and listing gates
- Privacy policy URL live and accurate
- Data safety form matches reality
- Screenshots for required phone sizes
- Content rating questionnaire completed
- Support email monitored
Product gates
Empty states, offline messaging, and account deletion/data requests if required. If you collect personal data, say so clearly.

After submit
Expect review questions. Keep a build that reviewers can sign into. Do not schedule marketing the same hour you upload.
